Greetings,

My name is Veronica Rolen, and I am excited to return to the Creekview administration team for my 22nd year as an educator in CFBISD. Creekview is truly a special place, and I am honored to continue serving our students, staff, and families. Prior to coming to Creekview, I taught middle school math and served as both the Math Department Manager and Instructional Facilitator at Dan F. Long Middle School. I later worked as an Instructional Math Coach for CFBISD before moving into campus administration as an Assistant Principal at Barbara Bush Middle School. Each of these experiences has strengthened my commitment to student achievement, instructional excellence, and meaningful partnerships with families. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from UT Arlington, and a Master’s degree in Education from Texas Woman’s University. As a proud CFBISD parent, all three of my children are graduates of the district and were scholar-athletes during their time in school. Nothing brings me more joy than spending time with my family and spoiling my two precious grandchildren. Outside of work, I also dedicate much of my time to serving my church community. I am passionate about supporting students throughout their high school journey and look forward to another incredible year at Creekview.

Dear Creekview Families,

This is the start of my 5th school year at Creekview High School and my 23rd year serving youngster to young adult students in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD all in the area of school administration. I have also educated students as a cheerleading coach and middle school teacher in Duncanville Independent School District and as an elementary school teacher in Lawton Public Schools, Oklahoma. I earned a dual Bachelor’s Degree of Science and of Arts from Cameron University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a Superintendent Endorsement from the University of North Texas. These experiences have afforded me a deep understanding of the learning progression from Kindergarten to 12th grade!

As your Creekview Class of 2029 Assistant Principal, I am proud to lead and am happy to be of any assistance to you or your scholar. Together we have the amazing opportunity to empower our scholars to meet their full potential!

Offer the Best, Be the Best, Expect the Best!

For Scholars,
Dawn Rink
