Meet the Principal

Leon Sulak, Principal

Mr. Sulak is a graduate of Creekview High School and began his teaching and coaching career at Creekview. After his teacher career, he served as an assistant principal at Polk Middle School, Blalack Middle School, and Creekview High School.  In 2020, he was named the principal at Dan F. Long Middle School where he has been for the past three years.

Mr. Sulak holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Master of Educational Leadership degree from the University of North Texas, and he is currently enrolled at Texas A&M University-Commerce working towards a Doctorate degree.

Mr. Sulak is married to his wife, Theresa, who is also a Creekview graduate and counselor at Vivian Field Middle School. They have two boys, Theo and Sean.

Mr. Sulak is proud to lead Creekview and serve the Mustang family.

Principal's Welcome Letter 2024-2025

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement for the upcoming school year.  On behalf of Creekview HS, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to each of you as we begin the 2024-2025 school year.  Whether you are returning to us or joining the Creekview family for the first time, we are excited to have you here. 

As we prepare to begin the academic year, I want to assure you that we are committed to providing an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated faculty and staff are here to support and challenge each student to reach their highest potential.

I want to encourage family members and students to be a part of the many organizations we have on campus.  Students have the opportunity to select and be a part of our over 40 programs, clubs, and teams.  For parents and guardians, there is an opportunity to be a part of our nationally recognized PTSA.  This organization does an amazing job supporting events, programs, students, and staff.  We hope you take the opportunity to purchase a membership at www.joinpta.org. Student membership is $8. Adult membership is $10.

If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We value your input and are here to ensure that this school year is both rewarding and fulfilling for every student.

Here is a list of a few important upcoming dates:

·       8/6 – New Parent Orientation @ 6:00pm

·       8/7-8/8 – Student parking spot sales 5:00-7:00pm

·       8/9 – Senior Sunrise @ 6:15am

·       8/9 – Student schedules released online (A follow-up email will come from Dana Macedo, Associate Principal)

·       8/9-8/10 – Parking lot painting ($80 fee required) 8:00-11:00am and 5:00-8:00pm

·       8/12 – First Day of Classes!

·       8/21 – Aloha Bash! (Student Club and Organization Fair – More information to follow)

·       8/26 – Meet the Teacher Night @ 6:00pm
