Hello! 

My name is Mrs. Iglesias.  I was born and raised in sunny San Diego.  I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Behavior and Development and my Master’s in School Counseling from Amberton University.  I am happily married and have two young sons, Aiden and Austin, who keep us pretty busy.  Together, we love to travel, have movie nights, and watch our son Aiden play hockey and soccer.

My role as a school counselor has truly been rewarding and I’m excited to be working with students, teachers, the administrative team, and parents who are vested in educational success.  My belief is to always encourage all students to strive to achieve their goals.

I am very happy to be one of Creekview’s School Counselors. I have 21 years in education. I love working with students. My certifications include School Counselor, as well as Secondary Mathematics and Spanish. I love learning and also have a Bachelors in Finance and an MBA.

I have two boys in college, and therefore have firsthand knowledge of the High School experience for our students and their families.

Emily Jackson works with students whose last names start with Ng-Sh. Mrs. Jackson earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Midwestern State University and a Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M-Commerce University. Mrs. Jackson taught elementary school prior to becoming a school counselor in CFBISD. She was an elementary counselor for many years at McKamy Elementary and was most recently at Blalack Middle School working with students with last names A-G.  Mrs. Jackson has been married to her boyfriend and best friend, Sam for over 28 years.  She has a 16 year old son, Owen and a 24 year old son, Nathan. Nathan graduated from the U. S. Coast Guard Academy in May 2022. The Jacksons have two cats, Twiggy and Holly. Mrs. Jackson spends her free time cooking, reading and recently started taking weaving lessons. She also volunteers for the Coast Guard Academy as an Admissions Liaison.

I am excited to be a part of the Creekview family and proud to be a Mustang.  Before coming to Creekview, I was a Transition Specialist at Turner High School and served as the department manager for special education. I received my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and my master’s degree in school counseling from Amberton University. During my free time, I enjoy traveling, riding horses, going to concerts and spending time with my family and friends.
