Hello! 

My name is Mrs. Iglesias.  I was born and raised in sunny San Diego.  I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Behavior and Development and my Master’s in School Counseling from Amberton University.  I am happily married and have two young sons, Aiden and Austin, who keep us pretty busy.  Together, we love to travel, have movie nights, and watch our son Aiden play hockey and soccer.

My role as a school counselor has truly been rewarding and I’m excited to be working with students, teachers, the administrative team, and parents who are vested in educational success.  My belief is to always encourage all students to strive to achieve their goals.

After five incredible years serving as a Math teacher in Irving ISD, where I had the privilege of supporting students’ academic and emotional growth, I am excited to begin a new chapter in my journey as I join the counseling program at my Alma Mater, Creekview High School. My passion for helping students reach their full potential began during my college years, when I worked as an AVID Tutor at Creekview High School and Recovery Lab Manager at R.L. Turner High School. Those early experiences taught me the value of building strong relationships, fostering resilience, and guiding students toward success, principles that have shaped my approach throughout my career. Now, I am eager to expand my knowledge and skills through the counseling program to better serve students and families as a compassionate, effective school counselor.

Emily Jackson works with students whose last names start with Ng-Sh. Mrs. Jackson earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Midwestern State University and a Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M-Commerce University. Mrs. Jackson taught elementary school prior to becoming a school counselor in CFBISD. She was an elementary counselor for many years at McKamy Elementary and was most recently at Blalack Middle School working with students with last names A-G.  Mrs. Jackson has been married to her boyfriend and best friend, Sam for over 28 years.  She has a 16 year old son, Owen and a 24 year old son, Nathan. Nathan graduated from the U. S. Coast Guard Academy in May 2022. The Jacksons have two cats, Twiggy and Holly. Mrs. Jackson spends her free time cooking, reading and recently started taking weaving lessons. She also volunteers for the Coast Guard Academy as an Admissions Liaison.

I am excited to be a part of the Creekview family and proud to be a Mustang.  Before coming to Creekview, I was a Transition Specialist at Turner High School and served as the department manager for special education. I received my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and my master’s degree in school counseling from Amberton University. During my free time, I enjoy traveling, riding horses, going to concerts and spending time with my family and friends.
