CFBISD shares back-to-school volunteer procedures

As Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD kicks off a new year, we want to remind parents about the district’s important volunteer protocols.

The beginning of the school year is a great time to get involved with your child’s campus. CFBISD volunteers help build strong relationships and make a positive impact in the lives of our students. To volunteer, all parents and guardians must complete a background check through the Raptor system. Once approved, you are cleared to serve for the entirety of the 2026-27 school year.

All visitors, including parents, must show a photo ID when entering a school building during the day. Visitors will be prompted to ring the video doorbell before entering the campus and should sign in at the campus office. The district utilizes Raptor Technologies for all visitor and volunteer sign-ins.
